I’ve practiced Sun Salutation with Sebastian for a while now. As a passionate Ashtanga Yogi his approach to Sun Salutation is very in depth and focused on the rhythm of breath & movement. His focus is on the beautiful syncopation of movement, breath & mind, making the practice a true meditation in movement. He gives you the tools and knowledge to enable you to practice on your own. To me that’s a great plus as I believe one should develop one’s own practice. But I very much still enjoy meeting with him a) for his continual corrections b) for the thrill of practicing with a like-minded person c) for his ever on-going generosity with his knowledge of the body and soul. It is always a beautiful, deep spiritual exchange and experience.
Since I started taking stretch class with Sebastian, my flexibility has increased significantly, my back and hip pain have decreased and I’ve gotten stronger. His class has been a nice complement to my exercise routine and I believe he has helped me avoid injury. Sebastian is very knowledgeable about the body and sensitive to each individual’s limitations and goals. If you are interested in getting in shape and reducing the risk of injury, consult Sebastian. He has done wonders for me.
I have a desk job like a lot of us, and over time it really has taken a toll on my lower back. Since I started taking “Vital Movement and Postures” sessions with Sebastian – my back, spine, and rest of body feel much healthier, stronger, and pain-free. My colleagues who also work with Sebastian and I, have always been impressed by Sebastian’s deep knowledge of human physiology and proper technique to rebuild the body, musculature and back. In this day and age of desk work or simply getting older this is something we all need and can benefit from!
